Pastor Jim Walker is currently serving at Byron Center UMC. He is married to Susan Walker and has two daughters, Hannah and Tiffany. He had a third daughter, Moriah, who passed away at age 14. He graduated from Lansing Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Geography and went on to Michigan State University where he graduated with a BA in Geography and African Studies. Pastor Jim received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has previously served the Michigan United Methodist Church in Lansing, Brown City, Utica, Wyandotte, and Belleville. We are thrilled to have him with us!
